Use the same information

Send both teams the same relevant records and describe the same goals. Otherwise, differences in their recommendations may reflect different assumptions. Ask each clinic to identify whether its proposal is provisional pending examination or a final plan. Keep the date and author of each response.

Build a comparison table

Place the exact preparation, cell source, processing, route, intended outcome, number of visits, and follow-up schedule side by side. Note any additional procedures included. Two packages called stem cell therapy may describe substantially different interventions, so a price comparison without these details can be misleading.

Compare reasoning and alternatives

Ask why the team recommends this approach for your diagnosis and which alternative it would choose if you declined. Look for a clear discussion of uncertainty and a plan for no improvement. A clinic that offers more procedures has not necessarily offered a more appropriate plan.

Resolve missing answers

Mark unanswered questions rather than filling them with assumptions. Ask for clarification in writing and discuss substantive differences with an independent specialist. If one proposal remains too vague to compare, treat that as an unresolved decision problem. Travel convenience and interior design can matter to comfort, but they cannot establish clinical suitability.

A practical comparison example

One clinic may quote a single local procedure while another includes collection, processing, intravenous administration, and several follow-up sessions. Their total prices are not directly comparable until the components are separated. Add a column for the reason each component is proposed. If no clinical reason is given for an extra service, leave that entry unresolved rather than assuming the more extensive package offers greater value.

Questions that reveal meaningful differences

Ask both teams the same three questions: Why this preparation for my diagnosis? What alternative would you recommend? What would make you advise against proceeding? Compare the specificity of the answers, not their confidence or length. A careful answer may acknowledge limits. A confident promise without a clear explanation of the intervention should prompt further questions before you treat it as a superior proposal.
